For as long as she can remember, Jeanne Hardt has been drawn to the creative arts. She was born in the small town of Kellogg, Idaho, and lived in the Pacific Northwest for the first half of her life.
In 1993, she moved to Nashville with her family to pursue music and acting. In addition to work in community theater shows as an actor and director, she sang song demos for a music studio, did voice-over work for a Nashville production company, and appeared in several music videos.
Her life took a dramatic change in November of 2010, when a dream inspired her to write her first novel. Once she set her hands on the computer keyboard, she discovered her true passion—writing historical fiction.
In June of 2014, she released her first novel, Marked. To date, Jeanne has published thirty-two titles. In 2017 and 2018, Amazon ranked her as one of the top fifty, historical-fiction authors.
Her passion for writing has inspired her to help other writers follow their dreams. Along with writing her own books, she is an editor for the publishing company, Jumpmaster Press, and she also works in that capacity with independent authors. She loves helping them make their books the best they can be. This has led her to teach workshops where she can pass on her knowledge and love for the art of writing.
Jeanne currently lives in Springfield with her husband and their dog, Jax.
